Hi! I'm Kelly, founder of Wyndeavor Travel. I have spent over 35 years travelling the world! With over 55 countries visited I'm still passionate about exploring and am constantly planning my next adventure. I love to visit the iconic sights of a new destination but then if you dig deeper and start wondering you can discover many hidden gems. I especially love the local markets and, of course, the locals themselves. Taking pictures along the way is a favorite pastime so I am often the straggler of the group.
There is a lot to learn from travelling, both about the world and yourself. Learning how other people live opens our minds and our hearts and makes us more compassionate people and world citizens. We can see firsthand how responsible and sustainable tourism is vital which is why working with travel suppliers that understand this is so important.
Our family sailing adventure was a highlight of my life. The biggest lesson I learned was not to wait to travel until you have the time or money. Later doesn't always come so travel now! You won't regret going but you will regret NOT going.
Kauehi Atoll in French Polynesia
Wyndeavor, a 40 foot aluminum cutter rigged sloop, was our home for two years as we sailed from the Pacific Northwest down the west coast of North America into Mexico and then across the South Pacific to French Polynesia, Cook Islands, Niue, Tonga and finally New Zealand...where we sold Wyndeavor.
Bennett & Taryn
The goal of sailing Wyndeavor was to make memories with our children in some of their most formative years. Home schooling and care giving in close quarters with few amenities really makes you appreciate what you have and also that you can't toss your kids overboard. That is frowned upon.

An intrepid traveler, Kelly has been to over 55 different countries. She loves planning trips, shopping in local markets, taking tonnes of pictures and learning about different cultures. She enjoys all types of travel and loves working with clients to be their personal travel navigator.
Almost twenty years later, Taryn had to complete a project in Film school using found footage. She used our early digital camera footage and assembled a fun video describing the "puddle jump" crossing from Mexico to French Polynesia.
